CONTENT WARNING: This game contains pixel-art depictions of Red Spaghetti Flesh. If you're too queasy, maybe it's not a good idea to play this game—but I think it'll be fine for most people regardless.

A top-down survival horror game. You are a robot created and deployed for the purpose of destroying a strange superorganism that threatens all life on Earth. At least, as we know it.

The game boots up to the robot's terminal, which is just the main menu of the game albeit unorthodox. To start the game, run the "start" command—type "start" (without the quotes) and press Enter. The spawn room is a little tutorial anyway. Or, preferably, you can mess a bit with the terminal to access guides and change game settings.

If you are having performance or technical issues with the HTML5 build, try downloading and playing the native version.

This was made for Round 1 Season 8 of the Pixel Game Maker Awards, which is essentially a multi-round game jam. Notably, it is the first season to allow games made in engines other than Scratch. This game was made with the LÖVE game framework. The theme was "Déjà vu" -- the gameplay follows this theme because you need to remember a detail about each room you were in from your previous runs in order to succeed.

My highscore in EVIL mode is 7/9. i played with keymap:arrow and control:std, as the game originally was. I really wonder if anyone can manage to beat me. God EVIL mode is so stressful.

I like it
